Toros reach huge franchise milestone
The San Antonio Toros are aiming to make the franchise part of the community’s fabric.
Part of that is ensuring that local investors are key cogs in keeping pro football in San Antonio, through both local business investors and public/fan ownership.
Fortunately, this vision is now a reality, as the Toros have reached a major milestone in their efforts to establish roots in the Alamo City.
Toros’ Josh Mair, Managing Partner & Team President, recently announced on social media that the team has hit 100 Wefunder investors who believe in the team and keeping it local.
This is legacy in action. Help us grow from 100 to 200+!
100 believers have joined the ownership circle to bring professional football back to San Antonio!
We are building this fan-powered future and have two wins this season, including a 1-0 record in South Division play for @coflfootball.
Stay with us because there will be many more team-firsts coming in 2026!
This is a tremendous moment for the franchise and a big reason why it will be around for years to come.
Having the community’s belief in the Toros will go a long way toward establishing that football in San Antonio can thrive rather than be a momentary sport that fades, as other football teams have in the city’s sports history.
