Toros cheerleading team, Matadoras, hosting cheerleading camp
The San Antonio Toros cheerleading team, the Matadoras, is hosting a cheerleading camp, and registration is now open.
The team is calling all future performers to join the San Antonio Matadoras for an afternoon of cheer, dance, fun, and confidence-building that will be sure to be a memorable time.

Here are the details:
Date: June 7, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Parent Showoff: 5:00 PM
Location: Full Out Xtreme Cheer, 12826 Nacogdoches Rd., 78217.
Cost: $50 per participant
In addition, all camp participants will perform with the Matadoras at the Toros June 14th game in San Antonio! Now that is an opportunity not to pass up.
Additional information from the team:
Group 1: Littles (Ages 5–10)
Focus on fun, confidence, cheer basics, and performance skills.
Learn cheers, make crafts, and perform a pregame routine with the Matadoras.
Group 2: Juniors & High School (Ages 11–18)
Focus on technique, performance quality, and more advanced choreography.
Learn halftime choreography plus dance technique from a high school dance coach or cheerleading technique from a high school cheer coach.
Those attending will receive two home-game tickets, a clinic T-shirt, snacks, and a performance with the Matadoras.

The Toros will kick off their home regular season schedule against the Tall City Black Gold on June 14. Start time is at 7:00 P.M.

Note, the game will not be played at the Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium at the University of the Incarnate Word. The new location will be at the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex, 200 Noblewood Dr., 78220.
