Toros reschedule preseason matchup vs. Hornets to ensure fans cheer on the Spurs’ WCF Game 3 in San Antonio

The San Antonio Toros have announced that they have rescheduled their preseason home game against the Tennessee Hornets from Sunday, May 24, to Monday, May 25. In addition, the team will host the Hornets at Harlandale ISD Memorial Stadium, the Toros’ home from the 1969 season.

Tickets for the May 24 game will be honored on May 25. The game will begin at 3:00 P.M. at 1109-1101 Apollo St., 78214.

The move was also made with San Antonio Spurs fans in mind. Had the Toros played on May 24, it would have conflicted with the Spurs’ West Finals Game 3 against the Thunder at the Frost Bank Center. This move now allows all San Antonio-based Spurs fans to focus their attention on the Silver and Black on Sunday and then shift their San Antonio pride to the Toros on May 25.

The Toros’ first regular-season home game will be against the Tall City Black Gold on June 13.
