Guess the Player: Week 1

Welcome to SA Snap Count’s Guess the Player. You get five clues to name this week’s player. Clue 1 is the hardest, and each one after it gets easier. Tap a clue to open it, make your guess, and only open the next one if you’re stumped.
The answer is the player’s first and last name, and it can be any active or former player from the CoFL, UFL, XFL, USFL, or CFL. If you still don’t have it after five clues, open the answer at the bottom.
The clues
Clue 1 (hardest)
In high school he did a bit of everything: he played quarterback as a junior, hit .443 for the baseball team and finished third in the high jump at the state track meet. His uncle played wide receiver in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles [1].
Clue 2
He closed his college career with a catch in 52 straight games and, according to Pro Football Focus, was charged with only nine drops on 433 targets. After his final season he played in both the East-West Shrine Bowl and the Hula Bowl [1].
Clue 3
He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2024 [2] and joined their practice squad that August [3]. In May 2026 he headed north of the border and signed with the CFL’s Edmonton Elks [5][6].
Clue 4
He was named Offensive MVP of the 2023 Frisco Bowl, when his school beat Marshall 35–17 for its first bowl win, and he was first-team All-AAC that season [1]. The UFL’s San Antonio Brahmas also took him in the 10th round of the 2024 UFL College Draft [4][5].
Clue 5 (easiest)
The Dekaney High School product is UTSA’s all-time leader in receptions with 313, and his 1,151 receiving yards in 2023 set the Roadrunners’ single-season record [1].

The Dekaney High School product played five seasons at UTSA (2019–23) and left as the program’s all-time leader in receptions (313) and starts (56), with 28 touchdowns [1]. After going undrafted, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024 [2][3], was picked by the San Antonio Brahmas in the 2024 UFL College Draft [4][5], and signed with the CFL’s Edmonton Elks in May 2026 [5][6].
