Champs! The Toros bring home to San Antonio the 2026 CoFL Championship
The San Antonio Toros notched a 46-24 road win over the Black Gold and completed a perfect season, going 5-0.
In doing so, the Toros are the 2026 CoFL Champions, bringing a title to San Antonio!
In addition, Toros head coach Stan Bedwell notched his 100th coaching win, and the Toros’ defense allowed only 30 points on the season. Incredible!
The Toros’ 2026 season was a huge success; the team excelled at giving back to the local community and garnered many fans. It was cut short, but the good news is that the team will focus on the future, including a new training facility.

“After productive meetings with ownership and the coaching staff, we have made the strategic decision to forgo the scheduled matchup against the Texas Herd,” said Joshua Mair, Managing Member and Team President of Toros Ownership Group, LLC, in a release. “This allows us to channel all of our energy into launching the new Toros Training Facility and preparing for a powerful 2027 season as the Continental Football League continues its restructuring, as well as upcoming community events. We’re incredibly proud of what this group has accomplished in 2026 and are thrilled about the momentum heading into the next chapter.”

Fans who attended games gave the Toros experience top grades and loved every second of football action.
“The fan experience itself, I didn’t know what to expect. I came out today with the advertising TV, but coming out, I’m enjoying every minute. It’s exciting,” said Toros fan Rueben Bravo. “We have a great team here. Our fans in those accounts support them, and it’s been an awesome experience.”
