Our Sports Story
San Antonio Snap Count is a home for San Antonio football fans. We publish podcasts, news, analysis, interviews, and fan features covering the San Antonio Toros, the Continental Football League (CoFL), UTSA, and the American Conference.
How We Started
We started San Antonio Snap Count in 2023, covering football in San Antonio, and we continue providing that same content as part of United Football Media. Our earliest stories on this site covered the San Antonio Brahmas and the UFL, including relocation news, roster breakdowns, and the team’s all-time greats. When the Toros returned, we shifted our focus to the teams playing in San Antonio today.
What We Cover
- San Antonio Toros: signings, coaching hires, schedules, game days, and community events.
- The CoFL: expansion news, trades, and rosters from around the league.
- UTSA and the American Conference: game previews, coaching, and the Roadrunners’ place in the conference.
- Analysis and interviews: position-group breakdowns, coach rankings, and long-form Q&As with players, coaches, and broadcasters.
- Podcasts and fan fun: our podcast episodes, the Field Goal Frenzy game, the Guess the Player quiz, and free coloring pages for young fans.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote San Antonio football culture and bring fans together. We want to be the place where a fan can catch up on the week’s Toros and UTSA news in five minutes, then stay for a deep dive on a position group. We write for longtime fans and for people heading to their first game.
Our content is written by our team of contributors and published under the SA Snap Count name. We check facts against team announcements, league and conference sources, and our own reporting. When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction. Opinion pieces are clearly framed as opinion.
